Saturday, October 18 This was a great event and we loved seeing you all at this year's Lewis and Clark Animal Rights Law Conference. Every year we are amazed at the dedication, intelligence and passion by which these dedicated souls protect the rights of all living creatures.

Saturday, October 25 (10 am -1 pm): Portland Walk for Farm Animals. Thank you for joining us for our 2008 Walk for Farm Animals to help raise funds and awareness about Farm Sanctuary's vital rescue, education and advocacy efforts for farm animals in need. The Walk started and ended at the vegan cafe, Blossoming Lotus, in Portland's Pearl District and was widely attended by folks from all walks of life!

June 1, 2007 we sold the book rights to Vegan World Fusion Cuisine! We sold to a major publisher but we did not sell out. The entire work will be published in its entirety with a new cover in a french flap paper back style. Same size, vibe and content. It is destined for greater distribution and we are super excited to be working with them!

Also in June 2007 Mark Reinfeld and his new bride Jennifer Murray were on a chef tour of the west coast. Read all about their journey and musings on their new blog at 7 Minute Chef. Please join them as their share the wonders of the Blossoming Lotus and the latest in vegan food preparation.

During the Fall of 2007 we had a great time planning and catering dozens of parties, weddings and special events. Our catering schedule is always dynamic and we appreciate you planning ahead. We are now booking events for anytime in 2008.We thank you all for your continued support and look forward to serving you and yours for your next special event, gathering or wedding.
